LIVE COVERAGE: December 7-8, 2019

It's a big weekend for the Pokémon TCG: North American players will flock to the San Diego Regional Championships on the sunny California coast, while, on the other side of the globe, Australian players will compete in the continent's first Regional of the season in Brisbane, and Singapore will host a Special Event. Only the Singapore SPE will be streamed; see below for the stream information. In the absence of streams for San Diego and Brisbane, we will still be working hard to bring you coverage of the metagame at each tournament, along with your favorite pro players' decks and everything that's being played at the top tables.

Kashvinder Singh Mann will be updating us live as he competes in the Singapore SPE; Jeremy Lim is our "man on the ground" for Brisbane, although he won't be playing in the event; and Zachery Everest is bringing us the details on San Diego. Tate Whitesell and Erin Palmer round out our live coverage team for this weekend. Keep refreshing this post throughout the day for more updates on the metagame and top decks, check the homepage later on for the Day 2 Players & Decks posts for each event, and be sure to follow us on Twitter @pokestatstcg for more coverage!

San Diego Regionals
580 or 599 Masters (conflicting sources)

Metagame information:
There is a lot of variety at top tables, with Arceus & Dialga & Palkia-GX, Malamar, and Turbo Reshiram & Charizard-GX appearing to be the most-played decks, followed by Blacephalon UNB, Doll Stall, Gardevoir & Sylveon-GX, and Pidgeotto Control. There is not as much Mewtwo & Mew-GX Toolbox as expected, and there is a significant showing of Gustavo Wada's Garchomp & Giratina-GX/Mismagius deck. Team DDG is playing an unexpected deck.
