Atlas Collectables POG Championships

Dates: August 22-23, 2020
Location: online (PTCGO)
Organizer: AtlastPOG
Day 1 attendance:
Day 2 attendance: 256 Players
Format: Standard UPR-DAA

The Pokémon Online Global Championships, sponsored by Atlas Collectables, was the unofficial  community-organized replacement for the 2019-20 season's World Championships (canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic). In terms of event logistics, prestige, and caliber of players attending, this event was possibly the "biggest" PTCGO-based tournament in the game's history.

Tournament format
  • Two-day format, with Day 1 open to all players, and top worldwide CP earners from 2019-20 season (pre-cancellation) receiving a Day 1 bye
  • Day 1: 10 best-of-1 untimed Swiss rounds. Players accumulating 7 wins automatically qualified to Day 2 and players accumulating more than 3 losses were automatically dropped from the tournament.
  • Day 2: players advancing from Day 1 combined with auto-Day 2 qualified "top" players and played 8 best-of-3 untimed Swiss rounds. Top 8 cut with 75 minute time limit per match.
